JAB Law prides itself on offering sophisticated and commercially pragmatic legal advice to its clients at rates that larger firms simply cannot afford.
When Jen A. Bock stepped away from her partnership at a global, AmLaw 25 firm, she founded JAB Law specifically to be able offer the same market-leading level of service to her clients at small firm rates.
Today, she prides herself on having developed a focused and lean practice that allows her to truly provide her clients the personal attention that they deserve.
Areas of Practice
Corporate & Commercial Support
JAB Law provides a broad range of commercial support from the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts and strategic partnerships to the structuring and closing of M&A transactions as well as financings and investments. We also assist foreign companies with their US implementation and provide corporate governance support to both US and non-US companies.
Intellectual Property Support
JAB Law’s IP team offers a full suite of IP transactions and strategic patent services. We provide IP diligence services for M&A, investment, and IP asset transactions, and we draft and negotiate corporate and commercial licenses and other IP-focused commercial agreements. We also provide patent-oriented strategic counseling, including patent portfolio evaluations, freedom to operate assessments, patent design-around guidance, and preparation of non-infringement and invalidity opinions.
Outside General Counsel Support
JAB Law provides outside general counsel services to companies that have no or only a limited in-house legal function. These services are customized to address each client’s specific legal needs and allow companies to access the firm for advice and support under a billing arrangement that makes sense: companies need not worry about being billed by the minute and can instead benefit from a cost-effective means of obtaining continued legal support for their operations.
